Every season, makeup artists send models down the runways with a certain brow shape and declare that it will be the hot new way for ladies to get their eyebrows done. Your brow shape, however, should not be determined by makeup artists, but by what works best for you.

To determine your best brow shape, you should turn to a pro to give you the shape that best suits your face. A visit to a professional every couple of months will help you maintain the shape on your own.

If you have fine brows, tweezing is probably the best bet, because it is easier to control fewer hairs. For those of you with brows with a medium thickness, waxing will remove hair faster than tweezing, so it is less painful. If you have extremely thick brows, threading is fast, and it removes the thick coarse hairs as quickly as the thin ones.

It's not a secret that bold lips are big for spring. Perhaps you are looking to make a statement that isn't as in your face as a red lip and more flattering than Barbie pink or fuchsia. Enter coral. Don't get this confused with the color that your grandmother used to wear back in the day. The most flattering way to wear this shade is to choose a pinky yet sheer, shimmering color, but if you're feeling daring, you can try a bright coral. Try this lip color with tinted moisturizer or a sheer foundation and black mascara, and the weather won't be the only thing sizzling! Above, Letoya Luckett wears a sheer, shimmery coral. To replicate the look, try MAC Ravishing lipstick ($14, maccosmetics.com)

Heavy eyeliner was all over the Spring 2010 runways. Now, the trend has trickled down to the women of the world! Eyeliner, applied with an uptick at the end, can give your eyes a flirty and youthful look (think Zoe Saldana) or a sultry look (like Rihanna and Alicia Keys), depending on what you are going for.

Ladies with smaller eyes should only draw eyeliner on the outer half of the lid to create the illusion of a larger eye. If you have larger eyes you can just follow your eye shape with the liner and extend it a little (or a lot, if you're daring!) past your eyelid.
