At eight months pregnant, actress Denise Boutté is every bit the glowing expectant mother.

But you can't only chalk up Boutté's radiance to her prenatal status. The star of 'Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns' and the 2007 film 'Why Did I Get Married?' says she relies on a mix of department store favorites and drug store bargains to pull off her look.

"When it comes to skin care or fragrance, simple is best," says Boutté, who buys her favorite face cleanser and moisturizer in bulk from Costco.

The doe-eyed beauty tells AOL Black Voices the six beauty products she can't live without.


Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
Moisture, moisture, moisture! When it comes to hydrating her face and body, Boutté loves this drug store fixture. Boutté, who prefers a dewy look, will douse Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream ($13.49, Walgreens.com) on her face before she applies her makeup. This fragrance-free cream is great for sensitive skin.
Michael Eau De Parfum by Michael Kors
Boutté isn't into fruity scents - a reason why she loves this fragrance that's a great balance of floral and exotic spices."It has a little hint of floral, but a little masculine scent to me. I'm not a girly girl. I don't like things too sweet," Boutté professes. She says Michael Eau De Parfum by Michael Kors ($75 to $95, Michaelkors.com) is memorable without being overpowering.
Olay Foaming Face Wash
Again, stressing her dislike for florally fragrances, Boutté says she likes Olay Foaming Face Wash ($4.49, drugstore.com), because it's mild and has a pleasant scent. "It gives you a nice clean palette to start from without being too perfumy," she says.
Pond's Clean Sweep, Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes
When she's shooting in Atlanta, Boutté says Pond's Clean Sweep, Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes ($5.69, drugstore.com) are a must-have for makeup removal. "I swear by those things. They take off everything," she says. She then reaches for Olay Foaming Face Wash to finish the cleansing process.
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
If it's just a 'regular' day, Boutté puts Kiehl's Ultra Facial Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 in dark ($24.50, Nordstrom.com) over the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. "It gives you a little coverage without making it too heavy. I like to keep it natural," she says. A makeup artist at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, where 'Meet the Browns' is filmed, introduced Boutté to this tinted moisturizer and other Kiehl's products because of her extremely sensitive skin.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation
This is another product that the makeup department at Tyler Perry Studios introduced to Boutté, and she's been hooked on it since 2006. Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation ($42, Sephora.com) is easy enough for Boutté to apply on her own or to be applied professionally via an airbrush machine. This liquid foundation's colors Deep Bronze and Toffee Bronze match her skin very well and feel lightweight. "When I put it on with the Cetaphil, it blends easily and it holds. It doesn't move or shift or anything," she says.
