Powerhouse singer Jennifer Hudson is gracing the cover of this month's issue of InStyle magazine and looking better than ever in her newly slim body. The Oscar-winning actress admits that fans aren't the only ones having a problem recognizing her new and improved look. "Once in awhile I see a picture of myself and I'm like 'Wow! This is what I look like?"
After the birth of her son, David Otunga Jr., last August, the 'DreamGirls' star found herself 35 pounds heavier. "I was like, 'Who? ... Oh, my God, this is me,' said Hudson after seeing pictures of herself post-pregnancy. Hudson joined Weight Watchers shortly after, and in April, she became the national spokesperson for the weight loss program.

In an interview with People, Hudson revealed that her goal for joining Weight Watchers was not to become skinny but to become healthy. The new mother would like to set a positive example for her son in the future. "This is a good way of how I would want my child to grow up, because so many times in growing up, you gain really bad [eating] habits... so I want to make sure that he's going into this and I'm being a good example for him."
Although Hudson won't divulge the exact number of pounds she's shed in the past year, rumor has it the songstress dropped close to 56 pounds while prepping for her role as Winnie Mandela. Keep up the good work J Hud!

Hudson may have struggled with her baby weight, but it looks like mommy-to-be Alicia Keys is having no issue staying fit! The blogosphere was all a buzz when pictures surfaced of the songstress showing off her bulging belly in a bikini. The photo was taken just hours before the Keys said "I do" to music producer Swizz Beatz. The newlyweds are expecting their first child this fall.
Oh, Alicia, if only everyone could look that good pregnant!

Why didn't they photoshop her in the second picture like they did in the first? You can't believe anything you see or read anymore, guess we can consider it ALL fake now!

I agree Sjth. It has nothing to do with jealousy, but everything to do with Photo-“chopping.” It is common practice now to sculpt the image. They did it to Oprah in the late 90’s on the cover of Vogue, Star Jones when she first lost weight, and to every other celebrity that’s on the cover of anything. You will NEVER see the real person unless you see them in person for real. And even then - they ain't real.
Congratulations Jennifer, you look beautiful.

She looks fantastic, photoshop or not. At least she's making an attempt to portray herself not only as a top notch entertainer but as a role model for the benefits of making healthier food choices. Our community needs to see that, more that 79 percent of Black American women are obese...horrifying!

The pictures look great, and I hope Jennifer is happy and healthy and likes her body. But, the truth is that the image has been retouched. Anyone that knows the business knows that those images are photoshopped. No doubt about it. Magazine photos now are like what weaves used to be; only people that know what to look for can tell it's fake, but the general public is catching on.

I like Jennifer better when she was plus size. Everyone is not meant to be a size 8 or 10, what size are you now Jennifer? She has big bones and no matter what size she is now, she will gain the weight back because of her body structure. Look at Oprah, she has lost tons of weight and with all of her personal trainer's she gained it back so now Oprah is the right size for her. I'm all for eating healthy but Jennifer needs to just be herself and not try and let other people mold her into somebody she is not.
