Lather Up: BV's Sweetest-Smelling Bath and Body Picks

Comments (3)

Nothing announces the arrival of the season like the perfect summer scent. Whether you love a fruity body lotion or a romantic spritz, here are our favorite bath and body collections that will keep you moisturized and smelling good this summer.

For the Vanilla Lovers

Bath & Body Works Summer Vanillas Signature Collection: Bath and Body Works brings us a special treat only available until this August with its signature Summer Vanillas Collection. The line has great summer products for even the non-vanilla fans; there is only a very slight hint of vanilla in each, and we loved them all so much, we couldn't pick just one! The body lotion ($12), shower gel ($10.50), fragrance mist ($12), cooling mist ($12) and tasty lip gloss ($7) are available in four delectable scents. There's Lemon Vanilla, a fresh, citrusy scent; Berry Vanilla, which has notes of blueberry and vanilla cream; Apricot Vanilla, the most fruity and tropical scent of the bunch; and Coconut Vanilla, an updated, addicting take on the classic summer coconut.

For Everyday

Victoria's Secret Secret Moments in Good Day Sunshine: Victoria's Secret stopped being just a lingerie store long ago and has since become a go-to for great bath and body products. One of its newest collections, Secret Moments, was inspired by scents that trigger special memories. Good Day Sunshine is a great everyday scent that's not overwhelming, is fresh and just feels, well, full of sunshine. The scent is available at Victoria's Secret in a sheer fragrance mist ($12), nourishing body cream ($12), daily body wash ($10) and body lotion ($10).

For Something Fruity

Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava: We love the way Pacifica's body lotions and butters keep skin moisturized and smooth, but we love it even more in the fruity, summery scent of Hawaiian Ruby Guava. Inspired by the creator's trip to Hawaii, the products have a strong guava and berry scent with a coconut base. You can go to the nearest Sephora to check out the scent in a solid perfume ($9), spray perfume ($22), body butter ($18), body lotion ($12.50) and body wash ($12.50). And with this scent, as with any fruity scent, remember–a little goes a long way!

For a Summer Date

Philosophy's Falling in Love: Philosophy, the skin care line that believes in uplifting customers through the human spirit and great products, has a refreshing, clean and sensual scent: Falling in Love. With only a very subtle, musky scent of berries, take your pick at philosophy.com of a spray fragrance ($40), eau de parfum ($50), shower gel ($22) or body lotion ($34) for the perfect summer night.
