i loves letoya, but she looks a hot mess. so does beyonce. i've never been too fond of ashanti. i do not think that she's pretty at all.

Ashanti looks absolutely gorgeous as usual and Letoya's makeup is pretty. That pose is not cute though. I hate the lip color that Beyonce has on. I'll be glad when she let's that way too red lip color and way too light blond hair go.

Ladies, I have to agree with you.
Beyonce previously wore a light color like that:

Personally, I believe she under-coated it with something lighter/paler because it is actually a
light although not sheer gloss.
To get coral, you have to go a different route. Also, I have to talk about this in terms of her having red in her hair: a kind of honey auburn(in both pictures. Ashanti has something similar in the fall of her hair to the back.
Cover Girl came out with a couple based on that shimmer-glow effect but whether it is still by the numbers in their lineup??? is another matter. I just went by the shade that I was seeing on the charts and they are number 904, and number 956 which I prefer, but in each case it basically depends on your complexion tone at the time.
These days I discovered something by a brand that I never used before. Stila; and I notice that they have a web site mentioned on the back (and side) of the slim box: www.cosmetics.com
They are in Brussels, Belgium like the movie about the gangsters with Raf Fiennes.
But I digress, the color comes in a small compact that us very coral but the color is called: Petunia (and can be used on both the lips and the cheeks. It was definitely more expensive, of the three brands mentioned.
I know that both Dior, and Tom Ford came up with even more expensive new oroduct lines; but, keeping it real, what a performer in show-biz who appears at a White House after dinner entertainment can afford is one thing and what we are doing is another.

Beyonce's make-up artist should be fired. The lipstick going above her lip line looks terrible. Her lip color and eye makeup are both bold and seem to compete with each other. I think we have actually two rules here that have been broken.

You know what absolutely befuddles me about AOL? They write articles and then post pics that do not represent the article. Ladies, none of these women have on coral lip color. The first two are a straight on pink, and the last is a red with a hint of coral. True coral lip color has a high concentration of orange in it. Then it has undertones of red that give it the flash it's known for. Lastly, whoever put on Beyonce's lip color needs glasses. The color is above her upper lip line (a no-no). Gives it a sloppy appearance. The little bit below the lower lip gives it the sultry pouty look, but the top lip makes her look ridiculous.

everyone needs a different color, depending on their eye/hair color, and most of all their complexion....i have a fair complexion, with blonde hair & greenish eyes...I have found that
shades of pinks, esp. mauves seem to be nice ..
( my friend's mom owns a salon & knows ALL ABOUT MAKEUP /COLORS, etc, and she told me the same--to continue to wear shades of pink on the lips..
I do not wear much makeup as it is ...I'm not a big fan of looking "made up", or ever loading on makeup & looking gaudy, or tacky/classless...By the way women....DO NOT WEAR EYE SHADOW UNDER YOUR EYES AS A LINER--i saw someone doing that once..ughh....ALSO , IF YOU HAVE A HUGE FOREHEAD SCAR, THEN , PLEASE, BY ALL MEANS, COVER UP THAT UNSIGHTLY SCAR WITH BANGS !!!...No one wants to see an UNSIGHTLY scar....

Beyonce looks ridiculous and couldn't even put the lipstick on her lips, went way above it on the right side. lol Letoya looks like a kid put her makeup on, a kid that was probably 2 years old. The idea of makeup is to enhance your looks not look like a clown, which she does.
