For the New York premiere of her newest movie, 'Just Wright,' Queen Latifah embraced the metallic rage of the Spring season. Here, her makeup artist, Monifa Mortis, shares how you can get the look at home as well.
Eyes:
"For the eye I used a combination of gunmetal, green and charcoal colors," she said.
Try Covergirl Smoky Shadow Blast in Citrus Flair, using the green color on the base of the lid and blend up, layer a smoky metallic shadow over the green in the crease of the eye and blend up towards the brow bone. Add a gold highlighter along the lower lash line and up at the brow bone.
"To finish the eye," she said, "I used a few coats of CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara in black for glamorous long lashes."
Face:
"For the face, I used CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Pressed Powder in Brown Bronze, and in Ebony Bronze on her forehead and cheekbones to add a warm glow."
Lips:
"I finished the look with CoverGirl ShineBlast Lip Gloss in Ember, which Queen took with her in her clutch for touchups throughout the night."
