New Manicure Lasts for Two Weeks

Imagine going to the nail salon and getting your nails done without having to wait for them to dry. Now imagine having your manicure last for two weeks with no chips, bubbles or smudges. Sound too good to be true?

With Creative Nail Design's new revolutionary polish, this isn't a manicure addict's fantasy, but reality. Shellac Hybrid Nail Color is CND's new polish that goes on in three coats like polish, dries like a gel, and lasts for 14 days with high shine. It can only be applied by professional manicurists using a special CND UV lamp, and will become available at nail salons across the country May 1st.

"I have a feeling it will end up at a lot of salons," said Charity Guzosfki, Senior Manager at RED PR, which represents CND. "I think it will really change manicures, especially for the people who didn't want to go get a manicure because it was expensive or might chip. This is a no chip, no smudge, no dry-time option."

On top of the innovative and convenient new polish's easy maintenance, the removal process is easy and better for your skin than soaking in acetone. By applying individual Shellac Remover Wraps for ten minutes, manicure lovers can avoid the hassle of sitting and soaking.

Shellac Hybrid Nail Color will be available in 12 shades ranging from French manicure pink to vixen red. Prices will vary depending on the salon, although Guzosfki said she believes the price will only be a small mark-up from each salon's regular manicure price. A full list of salons that will offer the polish is coming soon to CND.com.
