Sade proves on the April cover of Ebony that there is nothing old about 51. The 'Soldier of Love' singer looks amazing and ageless in her cover photo, but the magazine has generated some internet buzz because one of the Brit's signature features seems to have been airbrushed away. Her freckled fans are up in arms. It's not as if she wouldn't have looked just as beautiful with her nose and cheeks covered in the familiar dots.
Tell us: do photo editors go overboard with airbrushing? Do you like Sade better with freckles?

Hate the cover without the freckles that is part of her. Ebony should be ashamed for airbrushing her face to that extreme.

THEREFORE SHE WILL NOT CRACK UP WITH WRINKLES LIKE WHITE WOMEN THAT ARE HER SAME AGE. WE ALL KNOW WHITE WOMEN WHO ARE THE AGE OF SADE WOULD HAVE HAD SEVERAL VISITS WITH THE PLASTIC SURGEONS BY NOW BUT THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE SADE...BECAUSE SHE IS A BLACK WOMAN.

I think the freckles should have been left alone, without them the cover does not stand out like any other photograph of Sade. The editors definitely went overboard with the editing.

it cracks me up when typical woman in your category of jealousy always love to speak negative about ppl that are gorgeous and have things going for them that are positive. this is what jealous woman do all the time against another woman that - look better than them in every way. they always show their jealous of other wmn by what they do, what they say, and in their looks at them.
it makes me feel good when its done to me because i already know what it is.... and jealous wmn are only telling me that what i already know.
if you have nothing better to say but to show jealousy towards someone, keep your mouth shut!

My mom has a lot of freckles but when she puts makeup on (which isn't necessary to me for SADE) they get covered easily. I think that it may have been unintentional. Just focus on the the good and incredible thing~SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE'S IN HER 20'S IN THIS PICTURE, AND SHE'S 52.. Now that's amazing!

You're an idiot!! That's the thing...we really DON'T know how she really looks like at 52. If they airbrushed her freckles, they probably airbrushed a lot of other things like wrinkles and bags. Besides, are you so naive to really believe that she hasn't had any "work" done? Ebony, just like all the other mags, promote an unrealistic and unhealthy image that morons like you buy into.

Sade is a beautiful woman and did not need any airbrushing. The freckles are fine and they do not diminish her beauty one bit. Waste of money in my opinion.

pic to show Sade without freckles....and who says
they were airbrushed out? Maybe the makeup person
decided to cover them up. Some people LOOK for
shit to complain or get upset about. Mary J. has
a scar, you see it on some pics, others you don't.
Its STILL Mary J., and this is still Sade. She
is a beautiful woman, period, but stylists and
magazine people do make editorial decisions of their choice as to what the cover will show.
