STEP ONE: Prep Skin "Before applying makeup, always start with clean, toned and moisturized skin," says Sheriff, who used Mary Kay's TimeWise Targeted-Action Eye Revitalizer to refresh and brighten Hilson's eyes. "I love Enessa Neroli Oil Spray to tone and make skin glow."

Lastly, Sheriff applied La Mer moisturizer to finish prepping Hilson's skin.

STEP TWO: The Foundation for a Flawless Face "I love for Keri to look flawless because she has such a beautiful bone structure," says Sheriff, who used Smashbox Photo Finish Primer to give as a base to ensure Hilson's makeup has lasting wear ability.

Next Sheriff used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Compact Foundation to create a flawless finish, then sculpted and contoured Hilson's face with COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer in Light Bronze to create natural glow.

STEP THREE: Get Cheeky Hilson's Dolce & Gabbana gown was swirled with soft peach tones so Sheriff accented her cheeks with Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Strawberry Cream. This cheek hue "has a subtle cotton candy rose tone with a beautiful shimmer to it, so the cheeks just glow," shares Sheriff.

STEP FOUR: The Eyes Have It Hilson asked Sheriff to create a jewel toned smoky eye.

"I chose a beautiful deep purple shade from Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Sweet Plum on her lids and lower lash line. As a base to intensify the purple shadow, I applied COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume," says Sheriff.

When using color shadows, control the intensity by starting off light then gradually layer more shadow on. Sheriff added depth and drama to eyes by using Tigi Bed Head Big Fat Fun Liner in Purple and COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara in Black on the top and bottom and top lashes. Next, Sheriff applied faux lashes to further up the glam factor.

"I used Ja'Maal Busters Lash Line to add that extra drama for red carpet flare," she said.

To frame Hilson's face, Sheriff filled in the star's naturally high arched brows with Dior Powder Brow Pencil and then brushed them using brow gel. Try Diorshow Brow in Shiny Blond to give the brow shape some shimmer.

STEP FIVE: Smile For the Camera "I didn't want to do just a nude lip and smoky eye so instead I went retro -- think Kevyn Aucoin meets Naomi Campbell in the 90's," said Sheriff of the inspiration for Hilson's pretty pout.

Start by lining the lips with Mary Kay Lip Liner in Berry, then blend with a lip brush to blend. Next, dab COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lip Gloss in Pearled Peach in the center of the lips to create the perfect pout.
