When she made her debut with 'Diamond Life' back in 1984, British-Nigerian singer Sade already had the classic-chic thing down. Pulled-back hair and strong-yet-simple makeup has always been her thing.
But just yesterday, with the debut of her latest video, 'Soldier Of Love,' it hit us: Sade's beauty is absolutely timeless. She looks as gorgeous now as she did in her video for 'Smooth Operator' more than 25 years ago.
In her video, Sade looks strong yet subtle, and we've got some product suggestions for you if you'd like to recreate it yourself. The singer's skin is flawless as ever, and not covered up with expertly layered foundation. For this look, you may want to use a tinted moisturizer, like Bobbi Brown's SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer ($40, bobbibrowncosmetics.com) or make your own custom-tinted moisturizer at home by mixing a small amount of your favorite foundation with some of your favorite moisturizer.
For her eyes and cheeks, Sade is rocking a stunning bronze with a darker brown on the eyelid, and those are the kinds of colors available in MAC's excellent Fun in the Sun mineralize kit ($59.50, maccosmetics.com), which is all about peachy golds combined with deeper plum tones that look gorgeous on brown skin.

Sade's look is always all about strong brows and strong lips. So if you want this look yourself, make sure your brows are perfectly sculpted and filled in with a brow powder. Try Damone Roberts' signature brow pencils in Minx (dark brown) or Miss Ross (soft black) ($18, damoneroberts.com). Sade's lips are dark, sexy and slightly goth. You can get that deep color with OCC Lip Tar in Vintage ($12.50, occmakeup.com), or on the drugstore tip, check out Milani's velvet lipstick in Classy ($5.29, milanicosmetics.com).

For extra zazzle, you could even layer a black gloss over the lip color. Visit your local department store makeup counter to pick up one from MAC's 2009 Style Black collection, or check out Smashbox's Lip Enhancing Gloss in Sultry ($18, sephora.com), a sheer-black cherry shade.

Sade doesn't look like she has aged at all. She stills looks the same and she still looks as good as ever. I never realized though that she had soo many freckles.

This video is everything I expected and more! Sade continues to bring it in a major way! From the Soldier themed dancers to the futuristic Cowgirl roundup to the Bond girl secret agent Charlies Angel move, I feel SADE has returned to claim her spot at the top!

@ Ken,
Indeed-that song is dreadful; she looks beautiful but as far as the song, too depressing-sounds like same sound she had in the 80's.

I agree. I always liked Sade. I am in my early 30's and I like her old songs way better than I did when I was little. But it seems as though SADE gets better as I get older.
AND SHE LOOKS GOOD! That Nigerian in her. And the fact that she keeps her body tight and her skin looks ageless!

I wonder what she would say to that,"I didn't know she is Nigerian, but I would like her regardless," because in interviews she seems quite proud of her Nigerian roots.
