Beyonce you are a sell out. They don't have Lady Gaga looking like a slut showing all that flesh. Her portion of the video is tasteful, your portion look like a straight hooker. What happen to the Destiny Child days, when it was classy with taste. The video made me sick to my stomach. You claim you came from a good family. What dad or mom would like to see them parading around on a stage half naked. What type of husband you have to even alow this. The video is straight up nasty.

Nude lipstick but with all the jirating in the video you can't help but comment. Beyonce is talented true, now that she is a married woman it is time to tone it down. I was always taught you can still be sexy, have sex appeal and be fully dressed. Too much skin i really believe she is getting a bit carried away. It is CREEPY to me, for DADDY KNOWLES to see BEYONCE grinding, grabbin on her breast, poppin her butt, showing a lot of skin, while she is in front of a camera? You people kill me! You can point out her flaws and not her charity work. You can say shes a married woman, but shes also a GROWN WOMAN. What ever she decides to wear, sing about or do in her videos are on her. Like I said shes grown! She wakes up daily and works for her own money, even if she is married, whos making the money for her? If shes making her own money, shes obligated to do and wear what the hell she wants to weather its shaking her ass, accepting awards or being the humble woman she has always been. Lets remember who shakes their ass but respects themselves while on an interveiw or in the public eye. We never seen her panties, seen her acting a fool drunk-up or shaving her head Cause Jay left her with his kids only to end up with his baby's mother again. She is being sexy but she is one out of a handful that shows sex appeal but yet remains humble and respects her peers. I am very annoyed at all the black protestants posting right now, acting like Beyonce is a bad person because she enjoys making videos like these. Cuz I know y'all were blasting Alicia Keys' songs on your radio and calling Alicia classy just a few years ago just because of the way she dressed. Guess what ladies? It's just IMAGE.
Alicia, for all her well-dressed Grace Kelly-esque classiness also has Grace Kelly-esque tendencies aka sleeping with married men. Until you guys can prove Beyonce is actually a bad person, you're just a bunch of cry babies whining about body parts and skin. And pleeeease, Lady Gaga is NOT more "classy" than Beyonce. She loves walking around with no pants, just bras, and completely see-through outfits in public.
Lady Gaga also had the same dance moves as Beyonce in the vid, danced with guns in the vid just like Beyonce and she also made a conscious decision to star alongside "slutty, no class" Beyonce in the video, so in no way is she somehow "better" according to your standards.
The only reason you guys are saying Gaga looked classier is because she has NO BOOBS! Woman with boobs often get called whores and sluts while skinny women look "innocent" and can get away with wearing the same outfits. BTW, this post is coming from a skinny girl with no boobs, and I've seen the double standard :p

I am a Beyonce fan and I am concerned! As a fan, I've followed her career since she began with Destiny's Child; since their break-up she's been through a lot and she's worked really hard to get to the top. I admire and respect her tenacity and her talent. She is very beautiful, she can dance and anyone who says she can't sing is just plain nuts! Her voice may not appeal to all; but no one reasonable person can deny she has vocal talent. Anyways, my wish for B is that she backs out of the spotlight for a while. The more you push into it and the longer you stay in it the higher your chances of falling from grace. She appears to have good support so she may be unaware of the public's distain for her right now. I've seen this coming for a while and I foresee it getting worse. I don't want that for her, I want her to stay up always and not experience pain. Pain that is sure to come if she isn't careful.
As far the comments go on the article; I agree with the writer who said; aren't the comments supposed to be about neutral colored lipstick. Dang! People so upset with B that they lose thier focus. Yes, I know the article talks about the video but only ancillary to the main point.
And since the video is the hot topic of comments about B; I liked it. Yes, I would love to see her present herself in a way that excudes sex appeal but that also represents the fact that she's older and married. She does have moral responsibilities that should matter to her and she can afford to take the risk.

Wow, some women really like to tear each other down. Most of the time Beyonce sings about love, relationships and female empowerment. She's a grown woman it's ok for her to be sexy sometimes as well. I grew up in the 90s. I don't remember women saying this about Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. Janet dressed sexy, danced sexy and had more graphic lyrics than Beyonce. Mariah sung sexy songs and also wore very little clothes in a lot of her videos. Both of them are in their 40s now, and they basically haven't changed from doing the same thing. Madonna took it to the extreme with her Sex book and Justify My Love video. Yes, Gaga was naked in one of her videos and she spread her legs in front of a guy. I agree what Beyonce does is about on the level of Dancing with the Stars. It's just the right amount of sex appeal, without going over the line.

I just want to know how a lot of actresses, like Angelina Jolie, can actually show their breasts and butt in movies and have what looks like actual sex onscreen, nobody says anything. She's a role model to girls and women, yet I don't hear many people say anything. Kids can sneak into her movies or watch them when they come on cable. Beyonce has never did anything like that in her movies or videos. Beyonce is wearing and doing dances that most dancers do, no matter if they're on Broadway or in a music video. I don't want to hear that it's because Angelina does charity work. Because Beyonce does a lot of charity work, too. The media doesn't even give Beyonce's charity work the proper attention. Like I bet a lot of you don't know that Beyonce helped immunize children against polio in Ethopia, she's visited children in the hospital in places like Singapore and Romania, she visited orphanges in South Africa, she has had food drives on her last 2 tours, she worked with a group called GEMs that help young, sexually abused women, she built homes for Katrina survivors, and a lot of other things. I can count on one hand the overtly sexy songs and videos that Beyonce has made. Because most of her songs have been about love and female empowerment. If you notice even in those sexy songs, she's talking about being with one man. I equate what Beyonce does in her videos to what Mariah Carey did. Sexy but she always drew a line. It's just that Beyonce can dance also. I think that Janet Jackson and Madonna were a whole lot more extreme than either one of them. So what Beyonce is doing is pretty mild in comparison. Yeah, I suggest some of you look at the Broadway/movie Nine or Chicago because Beyonce isn't doing anything more different than those musicals.

To me, it seems like men can get away with so much more even MJ grabbed himself and moved his hips in a lot of his videos. I remember in the Way You Make Me Feel video he pumped the ground, which was very sexual. Everybody is a sexual being, it's nothing wrong with showing that sometimes. From this album, Beyonce shows different sides to herself like in If I Were a Boy, Halo, Sweet Dreams, Broken Hearted Girl, Single Ladies. She is not only about a sexy image and it's about love and female empowerment with her also. Yeah, I don't see how her costumes or dancing is any worse than what I see on Dancing with the Stars.

Personally, I don't think what Beyonce is doing is over the line at all. I see just as much flesh and sexy dancing on Dancing with the Stars and this upcoming movie called Nine. I agree MJ even did sexual things in his videos and music. Prince, Madonna, Janet Jackson did like 100 times more sexual stuff than Beyonce or MJ ever did in their music or videos. I don't see anything wrong with being sexy sometimes. Beyonce more than balances it out with songs like Halo, Dangerously in Love, Me, Myself and I, etc..She's about showing the many sides to a woman. Those sides can be loving, sexy, strong, independent, etc...

Beyonce is only doing the equivalent of Broadway/burlesque dancing. I think it's tasteful yet sexy. I mean there are even sexy ballet routines. I don't see what the fuss is about a leotard. It's what most dancers wear. I don't see how Beyonce's costumes and dancing are any different than Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Fame and many other videos and movies. I was actually more concerned about Britney Spears singing about having a threesome in her last song called 3 or Gaga being completely naked in her Love Game video.
